ABOUT ME

I am a relational integrative psychotherapist in advanced training at Scarborough Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Institute my training is due to complete in July 2024.

I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)

I hold an enhanced DBS

I am fully insured and have regular supervision.

I hold UKCP trainee membership and practice by their code of ethics.

Prior to this training, I have many years’ experience of working as a general and mental health nurse and in substance misuse and addiction services. I have a wealth of professional experience working with people from all areas of life.

I have experienced my own deep struggles. Psychotherapy allowed me to safely explore how I became the person I am, and recognise what was holding me back. My experience of psychotherapy was life changing and freeing. This insight, and really knowing how it feels to sit in the clients’ chair, enables me to be more present with, and better empathise with clients.

I am privileged to now be in a position where I can offer this to others.
